Kevin Gannon is Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning and Professor of History at Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa. He is the author of Radical Hope: A Teaching Manifesto (a volume in the West Virginia University Press Teaching and Learning in Higher Education series), and also writes regularly for Vitae, a section of the Chronicle of Higher Education. His scholarly and faculty development work embrace critical pedagogies while examining issues like race, equity, and inclusion. An active member of POD, he is the former chair of the Small Colleges Special Interest Group.
